1HR/1TK Online General Registration

Visions is excited to announce that registration for the 1Hour/1Take Video Race will be open to the public from February 24 to March 9.
Registration will be online and free for anyone to join at this time.

Registration for undergraduates-only is currently open and will remain open until March 9 as well.

The race begins between our afternoon conference blocks and film screenings on Friday, March 30, 2012. Crews will be given a prop at check-in that morning and have exactly one hour to create, choreograph and shoot a one-minute-long film in one long take. Films that make it past the finish line get screened to the audience an hour later and compete for the coveted Audience Choice award. Awards will be presented to the winning team at the After Party that night (stay tuned as we’ll be unveiling our prizes in the next couple weeks). All racers get free crew shirts and other exciting swag at the event as well, so make sure to register soon as space is limited.

Now open to the entire public as well as undergraduate students, 1Hour/1Take will be an exciting way for those with a passion for film to meet and collaborate at Visions this March. At the end of the day, not only will you leave with a new film network, but you’ll also have a festival-run short film under your belt – a win-win situation no matter how you slice it.
